If you’re lucky enough to have a garage as part of your home, the extra storage opportunities are endless. Take this garage we recently upgraded as an example. A big concrete square was transformed into a storage haven while still maintaining space for a car and even several garbage bins along the side.

Adding slat walls created ample hanging space for tools and other gardening implements, and a series of cabinets at the back created extra storage space for goods offloaded from the house. All while keeping the centre portion open and available for a car.
