New Home, Who 'Dis

A kitchen before custom cabinetry was installed to replace some under-counter seating space.

A before picture from the real estate listing.

In tiny Toronto homes, custom built-in cabinetry can go a long way. Take this 800 sqf home that was light on storage space (as in, there was none) as an example. The family opted for a large built-in along the East wall of the house, and decided to do away with some under-counter seating in the kitchen so they could add some more cabinetry.

An after shot with our custom under-counter cabinetry.

This was a brilliant solution for a family that wasn’t planning on using that seating space. They hadn’t even conceived of the area a possible additional storage solution, but our lead designer spotted the wasted space right away. That’s what we do here at Closets in the 6ix. Let us use our finely tuned senses to find more space in your home today!
